Two Ways enabled Incas to Machu Picchu

The Head of the Cultural Department of Decentralized Cusco, Ricardo Ruiz Caro said the route is used today has nothing to Inca trail and to this we have the possibility of two Inca trails, called sources and Incaraccay in the shortest possible time.

In statements to Andina news agency, Caro Ruiz explained that this new alternative forms part of the DDCC work done and the National Service of Natural Protected Areas (Sernanp) to improve the management of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

In addition to new routes include plans to build a museum where there are important sites in Machu Picchu and Orquidiario arose.

It further argued that these actions were considered in the Master Plan for Machu Picchu which was presented to members of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO.
