Promote new "Tourist Circuit of Vilcabamba"

The old Vilcabamba is located in, best known as the last bastion Inca or the "Lost City of the Incas" province of La Convencion.

For this purpose the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Dircetur) and the municipality of Vilcabamba agreed to implement a new tourist circuit, which will allow tourists to visit and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and its culture.

Carlos Landauro, you title of Dircetur, indicated that the creation of new tourist circuits is encouraged to diversify and relieve the influx of tourists who focus on Machu Picchu.

The new tourist circuit of Vilcabamba includes visits from the Abra Malaga, Huamanmarca, Vilcabamba, Vitcos, Rosaspata and Ñustahispana. In this way tourists can follow the footsteps of great explorers like Hiram Bingham, who discovered Machu Picchu in 1911 and Gene Savoy, who discovered the actual site of Vilcabamba in 1964.

Besides all Dircetur reported that in the coming days will begin with registration to participate in the new circuit.
