Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism expects Amazon visits are equal to those of Machu Picchu

José Luis Silva Martinot, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism , speaking at the ceremony symbolically New Natural Wonder of the Amazon River, said that visits to the Amazon River that is now one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, are similar to those visits the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu when Wonder was considered New World in 2007, so it recalled that the citadel was recognized as New World Wonder had significant growth in the number of tourists in the first year 27% keeping the same figure for two consecutive years.
