Original archaeological recover in Lambayeque

An average of 800 original antiquities belonging to Hispanic cultures, were recovered in recent years in the Lambayeque region, following raids by the Police Prosecutor and the Regional Directorate of Culture.

Jorge Centurion, responsible for the DRC of Lambayeque, announced that the control actions were conducted in homes, businesses and intangible areas where we practice the "looters", and that most objects are ceramic, metal and fossils.

On the other hand, said that after verification of the authenticity of objects produces a basic card depicting the birth of these, information is sent to the Ministry of Culture in  for a general database.

He also argued that plan to conduct a permanent exhibition of valuable archaeological recovered at the headquarters of the DRC of Lambayeque, through which they seek to inform the public what is exhibited in museums lambayecanos.
