Thirty companies in the Sierra Norte and Centro promote their attractions in event Canatur

Lima will host the fair Perú Regiones: Sierra Norte y Centro” that will perform the National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur) on Friday January 30 at the Entertainment and Convention Center Atlantic City in Miraflores. The event was attended by 30 tourism companies that will promote the tourist attractions of Ayacucho, Junin, Huanuco, Pasco, La Libertad, Ancash and Cajamarca regions.

With this show, Canatur seeks to promote domestic tourism in different regions of the country, bringing consumers to promotions that offer travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, airlines and tour operators in the area.

Jorge Jochamowitz Rodríguez, president Canatur, he stated that “Perú Regiones: Sierra Norte y Centro” svarious products and packages Lima inviting the tourist to visit the aforementioned regions with attractions will be presented.

In Huamachuco, for example, the main attractions are the Marcahuamachuco archaeological complex and Laguna de Sausacocha (La Libertad); while in Cascas its beautiful landscapes and exquisite wine.

Also, visitors can see the famous house museum of the famous writer César Vallejo, restored in 2012 and is located in the city Santiago de Chuco liberteña.

Meanwhile, Junin exhibitors show to potential buyers, attractions like the so-called Stone Forest “Torres Torre” in Huancayo; and San Jeronimo de Tunán, known for its gold and silver made by artisans.

They also report on the tourism value of snowy Huaytapallana (his name means place where the flowers are collected); Lake Paca in clover; and trout farm in Ingenio.

For its part, the Ayacucho region, known as the city of churches of colonial origin, has international recognition as Capital of Folk Art and Craft Perú.

The owner of Canatur said that the Ayacucho region noted for its folklore, music and the celebration of Holy Week, considered the most attractive religious festivityPerú and is visited by tourists and foreigners.

Likewise, said attraction is considered the archaeological complex Wari, located in the district of Quinoa province of Huamanga and was considered the capital of the first Andean empire.

Meanwhile, Cajamarca show exhibitors popular culture, especially its carnival in February, cattle, its dairy and leather crafts, among others.

Finally, the Ancash region is attractive for tourism by Parque Nacional del Huascarán yArchaeological Monument Chavin, among others.

Accordingly, Jochamowitz Rodríguez stressed that Perú Regiones: Sierra Norte y Centro the various services offered by tour operators regions invited the general public will be promoted, encouraging domestic tourism to the aforementioned regions.

"The exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to offer tourist alternatives to travel agents and the general public. In that sense, will present a series of tour packages and promotional fares for domestic tourists, with a term of validity for purchase and use ", explained.

To date have confirmed their participation the following companies: A & R Tours Travel Agency and Tourism (Ayacucho), Ecotours Group (Lima), Oltursa (Lima), Project Proturismo Cajamarca (Cajamarca), World Link Perú (Junín) and Hotel Laguna Seca (Cajamarca).

The exhibition event to be held next January 30 will be open for tourism businesses and the general public from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm. After the respective recess, will resume at 03:00 pm and will end at 07:00 pm.
