Creations alpaca and vicuña will be the fashion trend in 2012, said today the coordinator of the Commission for the Promotion of Peru Export and Tourism (Promperu) in Cusco, Ana Maria Enciso.
He explained that 70 garments made from alpaca are preferred by the public after the trade show will be done during the parade Peru Moda will be held in Lima in April 2012 and the "Ethnic Fashion 'in Paris, France.
Today, as part of the contest "Cusco always in fashion 2011" seven designers, including Cuzco and Gretel Virginia Garcia Gonzales, displayed their creations in pants, dresses and fashion accessories in art (hats, mittens and scarves) for "Parade of the school Real ".
Garments were prepared in 30 workshops in the provinces of Cusco, Quispicanchi, Canchis and spine.
The event will show fashion design development and position in Cusco Imperial City as the center of American fashion, especially in alpaca and vicuna, Enciso said.
The Regional Manager of Economic Development, Daniel Maraví, who also participated in the activity, said the event was a new concept to be called "sacred Andean years."

"Cusco always in fashion 2011" will run until Saturday, is organized by the Regional Chamber of Tourism of Cusco and promoted by the Regional Government of Cusco, through the South American Camelids Project, the Regional Bureau of Tourism and PromPeru.
