Icones journal in Cusco Orchidacearum present three new species found in Machu Picchu
Icons Orchidacearum global scientific journal, presented in the imperial city of Cusco three new orchids found in the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the same as were appointed to three servers Decentralized Directorate of Culture.
In the No. 15 issue of the journal mentions the new species Epidendrum Ochoae, which is dedicated to the biologist in July Gustavo Ochoa Estrada, program manager Biocultural Conservation and Management of Machu Picchu.
While the remaining two were Epidendrum incahuamanii dedicated to Feliciano Incahuamán Atausinchi (conservative vigilant of Machu Picchu) and Epidendrum mormontoyi Mormontoy dedicated to Rolando Lopez, conservative vigilant and network paths to Machu Picchu.
Similarly during the ceremony the previous species of orchid found, Epidendrum Astetei dedicated to the chief of the national archaeological park of Machu Picchu, Fernando Astete Victoria was officially published.
