If you decided to do the Inca Trail to reach Machu Picchu, that’s a good choice! ... We tell you that there are different routes to choose from.

The most requested is 45 km, with duration of 4 days and 3 nights; this route starts at Piscacucho (Km 82), near the town of Ollantaytambo. From here the adventure begins , we hike up the gorge of the river to the height of Cusichaca Huayllabamba little village , then climb to Huarmihuañusca (4200 m ) this comes to be the highest point of our trip , here we stop a moment to visit the archaeological remains of Runcuracay ,also an impressive Inca tunnel carved into rock, to appreciate there beyond " Salkantay " and " Huacayhuillca " or also called Veronica, we continue the path until we reach Puyupatamarca ( city of clouds ) is considered one of the best parts of our trip . Finally we enter the cloud forest (characterized by its diversity of flora and fauna) , walk around until you reach to Intipunku ( sun gate or entrance to Machu Picchu ) .

People who has a few days, have the optional tour 2 days 1 night , dubbed " Royal Road of the Incas", this route starts at Km 104 in the town of Chachabamba , from here walk 4 hours to Wiñaywayna reach ( 2700 m ) and then head for cloud forest before entering Machu Picchu.
