Machu Picchu will have new hours for visits since July

According to recent statements made by the regional president of Cusco René Concha, the schedule would be classified as follows: in the morning (08:00 - 13:00 hrs), afternoon (13:00 to 20:00 hrs).

This measure would help to have a better control on the entry refers. Ricardo Ruiz Caro regional director of Culture stated that there is the possibility to enable this option among the first 15 days in July, the month in which tourism in Cusco increases.

Caro Ruiz indicated that the possibility of a project is also looking to build a ramp and decongest the Inca citadel.
