A Unesco delegation is in Perú to help authorities in the conservation of the inca Citadel of Machu Picchu and prevent their entry into the list of world heritage in danger, reported the decentralized direction of culture of the Peruvian region of Cusco in a statement.

The advice of the Unesco delegation met in Cusco with representatives of the Government and Peruvian agencies, and plans to conduct a field visit to the sanctuary the day today Friday and tomorrow Saturday for verifying the progress made to the observations raised previously.
